Besides training, Scientific Research & Technology Transfer are two important functions.

Regarding to Scientific Research, ISED has encouraged lecturers to participate in international conferences, and set a target of 1 paper per lecturer per year.

Regarding to Technology Transfer, ISED had planned a project to identify the needs of enterprises, as well as improve its own capacity, thereby supporting the industry through short-term training courses, consulting services to effectively manage production system of enterprises.
