Study on Methods of Multi-objective Decision-making Based on Vague Sets

Abstract.
There are a great number of uncertainties in the process of dealing with multi-objective fuzzy decision-making, and vague set has advantages on dealing with uncertainty, however, sometimes traditional algorithms based on vague set are useless in determining which scheme is better.
By analyzing the characters of trace function and precision function and their disadvantages, a new multi-objective fuzzy decision-making algorithm, based on the unknown degree and uncertainty degree of vague sets, is given in this paper.
The new algorithm uses existent methods for reference, at the same time overcomes their disadvantages.
The new algorithm was proved reasonable in this paper and was applied into searching optimal scheme, and the result shows that it is effective and feasible.
